Destination Imagination is pleased to offer skill building interactive workshops for DI team members on Saturday, November 18 at York House School. Every participant will attend an Instant Challenge workshop and be able to choose two more workshops from these exciting options:
Presentation Skills – Anna Galvin, a well-known Vancouver actor and DI team manager will offer voice projection, how to make the most of your stage presence, and how to overcome live mistakes during your presentation.
Musical Theatre – Beverley Elliott, a singer/songwriter and actor will offer insights into musical theatre and song writing for theatre.
Improvisation – Jeff Gladstone, a member of Vancouver Theatre Sports, actor, and singer will bring his experience in Improv to an exciting workshop.
Engineering skills – learn about structural strength and building techniques.
Registration fee: $15.00 per student for all three workshops. Workshops begin at 9:00 am and will conclude at 11:45. Nutritious snacks will be provided. Space is limited! Register today! Workshop schedules will be distributed after Nov. 10.
